Patrick Valentino has comprehensive commercial real estate and affordable housing experience representing sponsors and investors in negotiating and closing of acquisitions and dispositions, workouts, financing, leasing and joint ventures. Commercial asset types range from hotel, multifamily, office, industrial, retail and mixed use. Patrick also represents clients in transactions involving affordable housing acquisition and development and the co-development of community centers.
Patrick is a past co-chair of the Real Estate Finance Committee of the Real Property Section of the California State Bar and has presented at multiple conferences on the acquisition of distressed assets. Prior to his legal career, Patrick served as a senior professional with several investment banks focusing on public finance, mergers and acquisitions and venture financings. Patrick began his career in New York with Merrill Lynch Capital Market’s Public Finance Investment Banking Group.
Patrick received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1992, and graduated Magna Cum laude from the State University of New York, at Albany.
